Funding Programmes
There is a number of EU funding programmes that are of relevance for the Silver Economy. The following list provides an overview of some of them and also links to further information:
INTERREG IVB North-West Europe
The INTERREG IVB North West Europe Programme is a financial instrument of the European Union's Cohesion Policy. It funds projects which support trans-national cooperation to tackle common challenges of Member States, regions and other authorities.
Five Strategic Initiatives have been identified, one which called �Challenges posed by demographic change and immigration� where the SEN@ER network will have good opportunities for the submission of proposals.

FP7 - Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development
The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) is the European Union´s chief instrument for funding research over the period 2007 to 2013. CORDIS is the official portal for participating in FP7 and following related developments in European science and technology.

CIP - Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme
The first “Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP)” is a coherent and integrated response to the objectives of the renewed Lisbon strategy and will be running from 2007 to 2013.

Interregional Cooperation - INTERREG IVC
Future Interregional Cooperation Programme "INTERREG IVC". Later in 2007 the INTERREG IIIC successor programme “INTERREG IVC” (programme title to be decided) will be launched. The new programme will run from 2007 till 2013.
