Workshops
Times of Societal Change – Active Ageing – Develop Joint Perspectives in the Euregio
SENIORitas and its partners held a euregional workshop for professionals in the fields of home-based services and tourism for older people in North Rhine-Westphalia and for members of the German-speaking community in Belgium and of the province of Limburg. Against the background of demographic change and the changing relevance of the ageing process, the workshop aimed to discuss existing offers on the silver market and develop new concepts.
The workshop was held on 2 November 2005 in Aachen/Germany. It was opened by minister Armin Laschet from North Rhine-Westphalia and Jean Severijns from the government of the province of Limburg. During the workshop, the network "Euregional Silver Economy" was founded and is now open to new members. Additional information can be obtained directly from SENIORitas at the Sozialwerk Aachen.
