Age-friendly Cities - International Conference in Essen and Mülheim from 11 - 13 June 2007
The main objective of the international conference is to establish and build a dialogue board for the regional partners of the WHO-project "Age Friendly Cities" (AFC). The conference will offer the participants a chance to exchange their experiences and best practice and to get into dialogue with partners from other regions of the WHO-Initiative.The main focal points of the conference are:
- security and independence: housing and home based services
- health (especially prevention and health promotion);
- participation
- culture and education in age.
